Olfactory Installation
An audio sensor acts as an input, feeding information to an arduino that in turn communicates with a liquid pump. The pump moves liquid perfume from a canister at the center of the device to the upper surface, which features topographical layers. The fragrance diffuses from the surface of the device and undertones experiences as they play out in shared environment, exploring how scent can act as a key to making and unlocking memory.
